About the Mapframe

Overview

Some Mapbender interfaces contain a small map window. It usually shows an overview of the whole region and can be used for navigation. The red frame shows the section that is currently displayed in the main map window. If you move "out of" the map region of this client you will not see the red rectangle. Just click into the overview map to find back to this region with the main map window.

You can also Drag & drop the red frame in the overview map to the size and position that you want to see in the main window.

Panning

Click on the border of the main map window to move the map to that direction. Alternatively you can use the button with the symbolized hand to drag & drop the main map in any direction.
