CVS is the acronym for Concurrent Versioning System, a storage platform which helps to organize collaborative development of code.
A simple HTML viewer is available for the Mapbender CVS.

With moving into the OSGeo Foundation it is planned to switch to SVN for code management.

CVS ist die Abkürzung für Concurrent Versioning System und kann mit "Simultan-Versionierungs-System" übersetzt werden. Es ist eine Datenhaltungsplattform für die kollaborative Entwicklung von Software-Code und verwaltet transparent Versionsstände, Threads und Forks.
