How to install Plug-Ins with Eclipse Autoinstall/Update Funktion

  • goto Help → Software Updates → Find and Install
  • check "Search for new features to install → Next
  • press "New Remote Site..."
  • Enter the name of the plugin projekt and the URL of the autoinstall/update folder → OK
  • the new plugin will appear at the pluginlist
  • check the new added plugin → Finish
  • Search Results should appear
  • check the Plugin you want to install → Next
  • Accept the licens → Next
  • Summary of plugins that will be installed appears → Finish
  • Download will start
  • after the download, you will be asked to install
  • klick it → thats it
