There are a host of separate tools for Import of spatial data. The most common are:
- AMeiN!
- AVeiN!
- Shape to PostGIS creates INSERT statements with OGC SFSQL syntax for import into PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- C60toPostGIS Migrator is an API extension for SICAD Spatial Desktop
- EDBS2WKT is a converter for the German cadastral base map standard EDBS
- WLDGE2SQL is a converter for the German cadastral base data standard WLDGE
