The brazilian user community is very active and has contributed a lot to the international community, focusing especially on the high end sector with relational databases (PosgreSQL/PostGIS and Oracle Spatial).

The UNIVALI has published the first WMS hosting the counties and city borders of Brazil. Find the map in the Mapbender Portal map. It will be the first brazilian Online Service to be added to the Mapbender catalog which is delivered with every download.

Die Universität UNIVALI hat den ersten brasilianischen WMS Dienst mit Bezirks- Stadtgrenzen und Städtenamen in Betrieb genommen. Der Dienst ist in das Mapbender Portal eingebunden und wird im Mapbender Katalog enthalten und gepflegt.
