Release number

Mapbender releases utilize a three digit numbering system. The following rules apply

dots are seperators, not decimal points (f.e. 4.11 > 4.2)
alpha or beta labeling is prohibited, use rc numbering (rc1, followed by rc2 ...)
first digit indicates
- major changes
- new features or feature sets
second digit indicates
- minor changes
- new features
third digit indicates
- micro changes
- bug fixes
- no new features
