Update from an old version to the current version
Take a look at the guide, how to Update Mapbender.
There are plans to create a new setup routine, also for updating Mapbender, see Setup-Routine. You can help by contributing to the wiki site, development or funding.

Apply bug fixes in the current version
- Check the Version History to find the version you are using.
- Click known bugs (you will be redirected to Trac)
- For every bug listed as fixed, you will find a patch in the attachment.
- Read the instructions how to apply a patch.

Create bug fixes
- Read the instructions how to create a patch.
- Check the Version History to find the version you are using.
- Click known bugs (you will be redirected to Trac)
- Find the bug you have fixed (or create a new ticket)
- Attach the file you created (naming convention: patch_<ticket number>.txt)
