Update from older versions

Take a look at the guide, how to Update Mapbender.

Since version 2.6.0 Mapbender uses an install script enhancing the process considerably.

Updating from 2.4.3 to

• 2.4.4

Apply bug fixes in the current version

• Check the Version History to find the version you are using.
• Click known bugs (you will be redirected to Trac)
• For every bug listed as fixed, you will find a patch in the attachment.
• Read the instructions how to apply a patch.

Create bug fixes

• Read the instructions how to create a patch.
• Check the Version History to find the version you are using.
• Click known bugs (you will be redirected to Trac)
• Find the bug you have fixed (or create a new ticket)
• Attach the file you created (naming convention: patch_<ticket number>.txt)
