About me

I'm geographer and I worked for Consulting Center for Geographical Information Systems (CCGIS) since 1998. As CCGIS, Karta.go and the Geo-Consortium merged beginning of 2007 to the WhereGroup, I then worked for the WhereGroup.

Since August 2006 I work also for the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC - http://www.opengeospatial.org/pressroom/pressreleases/626). In February 2009 I started working as staff for the OGC as Director for European Services.

During my studies I did some internships and smaller projects in Brussels

-> European Commission - SME: project management on a study for funding programmes

-> Permanent Representation of Germany to the European Union in Brussels.

I worked also at the CCP (Cultural Contact Point Germany) as assistant of the office manager.

Born and lived a long time in Nuertingen (about 40km southeast of Stuttgart, my german roots) I now live and work in Bonn. My roots in Greece are in Choumnikon! You don't know Choumnikon? Okay, Nighrita, Serres...
