Toolbar

You can find any or all of the following buttons in Mapbender interfaces. Most applications will only feature the standard buttons like zoom in or query. If you have a question, contact us.

image:zoomin2_off.gif Zoom In This button zooms into the map.
image:zoomout2_off.png Zoom Out This button zooms out of the map.
image:center_off.png Set map Center This button sets a new center for the map.
image:query_off.gif Query Query objects in the map with this button.
image:selarea_off.png Zoom by rectangle Toggle this button to pull up a rectangle in the map (just like drag & drop). The new map will show the selected rectangle.
image:pan_off.png Pan Use this button to enter pan mode. Drag & drop the map wherever you want to go.
zoomFull_off.png Display complete map Zoom to the full extent map of this application.
image:back_off.png Back With this button go back one step in the history of your last moves. Observe that this function also enables and disables layers. Do not use the browsers back functionality, it has no effect inside this application.
image:forward_off.png Forward With this button go one step forward in the history of your map moves.
image:measure_off.png Measure distance After activating this button you can digitize (draw) objects with the mouse into the map. Depending on the application this functionality will be implemente in different ways, so find out more details by reading the respective application manual.
image:rubber_off.png Rubber This button deletes temporary (digitized) objects.
Image:ClosePolygon off.png Close Polygon This button closes a polyline to create a polygon. First and last node are connected with a straight line.
image:getArea_off.png Get Area This button will only show up when the measure-button is activated. It will calculate the size and length of the temporary objects.
image:save.png Save Geometry Depending on the apllication this button will store the new geometries in a database or send an XML to a remote server.
image:coods_off.gif Coordinates With this button you can click into the map to obtain the coordinate.
image:repaint_off.gif Redraw Refresh the map with this button during your running session.
image:print_off.png Print This button opens the print interface. Choose the print options, if there are any (format, size, quality)
image:addlist_off.png Add WMS from List] Add a new map (OGC WMS) from the displayed list to your current map window.
image:add_filtered_list_off.png Add WMS from filtered List Add a new map (OGC WMS) from the displayed filtered List to your running session. Depending on the application you will see different services listed.
image:add_off.png Add WMS Add an OGC WMS to your running session by typing the Capabilities URL into an input box. This is cool for testing services and requires that you know the URL of a WMS Capabilities document.
image:preferences_off.png Change the order of the WMS Change the order of the WMS of the GUI. Also delete a WMS from ypur GUI.
logout_off.png Logout End your session with this button.
image:help_off.png Help This button leads you to these Mapbender Help-Pages.
Show GUI list Show GUI list Shows the list of your GUIs.

Digitize Buttons

image:point_off.png Draw Point press this Button to draw a point.
image:line_off.png Draw line press this Button to draw a line.
image:polygon_off.png Draw polygon press this Button to draw a polygon.
image:move_node_off.png Move a node You can move a node of an existing object.
image:new_node_off.png New node Insert a new node to a line or polygon.
image:delete_node_off.png Delete node Deletes a node of a line or polygon.
image:geomInfo.png Display information about a geometry You can handle the geometry - insert new information, save, update, delete.
image:geomRemove.png Removes a geometry from the edit frame If you don't want to handle a geometry you can remove it from the edit frame.

Selection Buttons

image:select_rectangle_off.png Select by rectangle WFS Selection by rectangle.
image:select_polygon_off.png Select by polygon WFS Selection by polygon.
image:select_point_off.png Select by point WFS Selection by point.
image:select_extent_off.png Select by extent WFS Selection by extent of the current mapframe.
image:select_choose_off.png choose from the diffrent selection possibilities
image:wfs_digitize.png moves the geometry to the edit frame
