future developements

• update the Mapbender Database (add columns, tables) for the current release
  • have a look at the mediawiki-setup routine to get inspiration
  • uli is giving more information about this

Ideas:

• file or new table(s) for a collection of installationdata (version.txt, version.xml,table version) or just adding the version into mapbender.conf and collecting important data for the update, like guis,modules of guis, wms, wfs, from database(better?)
• installation routine
  • check the environment (like the php-check and postgre/mysql-check of mapbender_setup as it is now)
  • form to enter dbname,dbuserdata,adminpw,?tableprefix?....
  • possibility to create a gui with wanted modules by choosing them from a list?
  • if environment-check detects older version, question for update
• update
  • just update from last version or function to compare installed database and up-to-date database an create a script dynamic
